Erica Franken, she/her Student Intern
Erica is a compassionate, active and curious listener who is interested in authenticity and helping others hold space for their highest desires and passions. Like many, Erica has experienced feelings of being held back in life. It is in those times that she was guided to learn the inner-workings of the nervous system. Through much work, dedication and reflection, she has learned that our nervous systems hold the key to inner-peace and clarity.
Erica uses Somatic Experiencing therapy (SE) to engage the nervous system effectively and gently in sessions. Her experience of SE consistently proves that the nervous system has always been our protector, even when we didn’t know it. Our opportunity is to learn how to talk to it, to honour the story it tells and allow it to complete the conversations we often never had the chance to.
It is Erica’s greatest honour to share this work with others, to be a witness to the wisdom that she knows resides within each of our hearts and to hold space for the healing that awaits us.
