I help people learn how to regulate and express their emotions in more effective ways and provide them with skills and strategies to feel more present, happier and healthier. My goal is to help people learn how to be kinder to themselves and to feel courageous and capable to face life’s challenges. I use a variety of counselling modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy- informed (DBT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Mindfulness and Self-compassion, and other strength-based and experiential therapies

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in good standing with over 2 decades of experience working as an educator and counsellor. My training includes a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia and Bachelors of Education and Arts Degrees from Queen’s University. I also have additional training in:
